Blue note will also look good because it will be a nice contrast with the sky and will look beautiful in the winter when the snow falls. The house will look like a Currier and Ives Christmas card.

Both of the blues look good, but I vote for Evening blue- it’s a little bit grayer

We walk by your house going to church. We always enjoyed talking about the different colors. Our son Grant ( 6 1/2 years old) died in 2013 in a drowning and we are your neighbors on Elm Street. There is a scholarship in his name at his school. Grant loved his house in Somerville. We miss him. There is also a 5K in Somerville this July 25 (Sat) to raise money for the scholarship: http://www.StreetsofGold5K.com. The race will go right by our house and yours.

Evening Blue would really enhance the New England charm of the house, especially in the winter, a previously suggested.

Copley Gray is the best choice for the house. It is a stately, mid-value, BM historic color that will contrast, rather than blend in, with the dark porch roof thereby creating some definition in the front of the house. Also, because the beautiful board fence is stained a very dark brown, the house should be painted a lighter color – preferably a neutral hue – to prevent the property from looking dreary. BM Blue Note and Evening Blue would look better with a white fence.
That said, it is also important that the new paint color works with the color of adjacent house. Unfortunately, it is difficult to see that color well in the photograph.

The grey fits in with the neighborhood and style of the house. It is easy on the eye.
